Answers to the unforgettable moments that shaped the second quarter of the NBA PDF Print E-mail

For all those who follow my post you will recall there was a post I did about the unforgettable moments that shaped the first quarter of this season. In that post, I paused some questions that were going to be answered in the second quarter. Since the second quarter is officially over, the following is a recap of those questions and their respective answers.

Q1. Will the Boston Celtics and LA Lakers continue being at the steering wheel of the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively?

The Lakers are in the steering wheel but the Celtics have been dislodged by the Cavaliers to act as co-drivers.

Q2. Will the Cleveland Cavaliers step up to the plate and provide a serious challenge to the Eastern Conference title?

Yes they have done so and their win against the Lakers at the Quicken Loans arena clearly rubber-stamped their credibility.

Q3. Which NBA players will be heading to Dallas for the All-star weekend?

For the East the lineup includes Le Bron James (F), Dwayne Wade (G), Kevin Garnet (F), Tracy McGrady (C) and Allen Iverson (G)

In the West, they have Kobe Bryant (G), Carmelo Anthony (F), Steve Nash (G), Tim Duncan(C) and Amar’e Stoudemire (F)

Q4. Will Iverson have an impact of ensuring the 76ers get back to playoff contention?

Although Iverson has made a very small impact, the 76ers are not in the playoff contention yet.

Q5. Who will out-pace Kobe Bryant in the race to winning the MVP award of the regular season?

Le Bron James
